Unable to connect to hotel wifi or public network with sign-in page

Airports, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and many other public WiFi locations will require users to navigate through a sign-in page (or "splash" page) as soon as you are connected to that location's Wi-Fi signal.

These "captive portal" systems work by routing all Web traffic to that one page until the user clicks through. Also note, these connection events are device-specific, so this will need to be preformed on each device you wish to gain internet access with.

While every public Wi-Fi location has it's own guidelines and sign-in page, in most cases, you can follow the general rules below to complete the sign-in process:

  1. Connect to the public location's Wi-Fi signal (SSID).
  2. Launch your browser and attempt to navigate to any website, you will then be redirected to the sign-in page.
  3. Follow the sign-in process and acknowledge the TOS on the sign-in page. (Some locations may require that you register for an account with them before you are allowed internet access.)
  4. Once you have completed the sign-in page, you should now be able to connect to VyprVPN.

If you are having issues connecting to VyprVPN after completing the location's sign-in page, please contact our Support Team for further assistance.

If you are having issues completing a public Wi-Fi location's sign-in page or registrations process, you will need to speak with a representative from the location.
